Ingredients
- 2 cups/450g packed fresh baby spinach
- 1 large apple (cored)
- 1 cup/200g diced pineapple
- ½ ripe Hass avocado (peeled and pitted)
- ¼ cup/15g packed fresh mint leaves
- 3 soft Medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 ¼-inch/5mm piece fresh turmeric (grated) or ¼ teaspoon ground
- 2 teaspoons blended peeled lemon or lime
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (or linseeds)
- Ice cubes (optional)
In a blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until completely smooth. Add ⅔ cup/160ml or more of water and ice (if using) and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
For a thinner texture, add a little more water, if desired.
