Elle McNicoll

Elle McNicoll is a bestselling and award-winning novelist and screenwriter of children's, young adult and adult fiction. Her debut, A Kind of Spark, won the 2021 Blue Peter Book Award and the 2021 Waterstone's Children's Book Prize, and was adapted for BBC television. Elle has a Master's degree in Publishing and wrote her dissertation on the need for more neurodiversity in the children's publishing industry. She continues to be an advocate for better representation of neurodiversity in publishing as an autistic and dyspraxic novelist.
