‘Find me a witch!’ cried Arriman the Awful, feared Wizard of the North.

Arriman has decided to marry. As top dark wizard, his wife must be the wickedest of witches – but which witch will she be? He holds a spell-casting competition to find out.

Hopelessly in love at first sight, Belladonna is determined to win – but there’s one big problem: all her attempts at dark magic go hopelessly wrong. Snake-casting spell? Perfumed flowers. Vampire-summoning? An adorable bat roosting in her hair.
