Dorcas Gwata

Dorcas Gwata began her working life in the UK as an NHS hospital cleaner and is now an award-winning mental health nurse, a Global Mental Health Specialist and Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene policy adviser. She works with young people and families affected by gang culture in London, a project that extrapolates research lessons from low-income countries to high income countries.
